When you use Questline, we collect the following types of information:
Personal Information
- Name: We collect your name to personalize your experience
- Email Address: Used for account management and communication
- Profile Picture: Optional profile image if you choose to upload one
User-Generated Content
- App Data: Any content, progress, or data you create within the Questline app, including your game collections and reviews.
- Usage Information: How you interact with the app to improve your experience
Third-Party Services & Integrations
- Google AdMob: We serve ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA or AAID) to serve personalized ads. Questline Plus subscribers do not see these ads.
- Firebase: We use Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting to improve app stability and user experience.
- Steam Integration: Library and achievement synchronization uses the Steam Web API. We only access public data and do not store your Steam credentials.
- Epic Games Integration: We use the Epic Games Store API to synchronize your library. Questline only accesses your public profile and library information.
- PlayStation Network (PSN): Integration allows you to view your trophies and library. We use official or community-accepted methods to fetch public data without storing your PSN password.
- Xbox Network: Integration allows you to sync your Xbox achievements and library. We only access public data provided by the Xbox services and do not store your Microsoft account credentials.
- Game Data: Game metadata is fetched from providers like IGDB and RAWG. Your search queries are sent to these services to provide results.
Data Synchronization
Questline uses an offline-first model. Data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure cloud (Firebase) only if you create an account and choose to sign in.
Payments & Subscriptions
Subscription payments are handled securely through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Questline does not collect or store your credit card information.
Your Right to Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. You can delete any or all of your personal information directly from within the Questline app at any time.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your explicit consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights and the safety of our users
Children's Privacy
Questline is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
